Onyx® goes on BLACK so many think that it's another layer of asphalt. Not the case though, it's a preservation of the current road to make it last longer. Learn more about Onyx® and how it can benefit your roads at https://www.hallbros.net/onyx
Onyx® is usually able to be applied 8 months out of the year. We just completed a project this last October in Oklahoma. We were fortunate the weather was above 50 degrees with a slight wind so that the Onyx® would dry quickly and get commuters back on the road.
We've applied Onyx® with the city of Norman, OK for the past 4 years. They have a very aggressive pavement preservation plan and we are happy to help! See more about how Onyx® can help your town at https://www.hallbros.net/onyx
Depending on the temperature and conditions, Onyx® roads can be open within a day of application, sometimes even within hours. Learn more at https://www.hallbros.net/onyx
Goes on black and stays black. States and counties use Onyx® on the shoulders of the roadway due to it's jet black color to allow better visibility of lines at night.
Onyx® can be applied when temperatures are at 50 degrees and rising. We will not apply if rain is in the forecast. Learn more at https://www.hallbros.net/onyx
